Classification and Districting Committee Update
 
			Update from their meeting on October 27th. Next meeting is November 17th at the OSAA office in Wilsonville at 9am. An additional public meeting has been added for December 1st.

Fall Participation Certificates
 
			Sport-specific Participation Certificates can now be accessed. Schools can create certificates for each of their student participants. Access is limited to OSAA website user accounts with school administrative access (ADs, Athletic Secretaries, Principals, etc.)

			The NFHS Network provides OSAA member schools with cameras for gyms and stadiums. Reach out to Joshua Maupel to learn more about how your school can join the NFHS Network to live-stream your events. Broadcasts on the NFHS Network do not require a media rights fee to be paid for postseason contests. Already set up with the NFHS Network and need support? Second Annual Captain's Camp Recap
 
			Nearly 300 student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from across Oregon gathered at North Eugene High School last Saturday for a day of leadership development. Highlights included a keynote from University of Oregon’s Sofia Bell, a college athlete panel with Q&A, and interactive breakout sessions designed to bring coaches and players together in building intentional leadership. OSAA remains committed to fostering student leadership statewide.

			The OSAA Foundation has established a fund to support schools and/or leagues in their sportsmanship and S.T.A.R. (Safety, Tolerance, Acceptance, and Respect) initiatives. Up to $1,000 per school or $2,000 per league is available.

2024-2025 OnPoint Scholar Program Scholarship Winners
 
			OnPoint Community Credit Union and the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) announced, six graduating Oregon seniors have been awarded scholarships totaling $40,000.
		
			
OSAA Foundation Cross Country and Track & Field Grant
 
			$12,000 is available for distribution this fall focusing on Cross Country programs. Deadline for Fall is September 5.
